In my mind there's a garden, Take a walk around, Where I'm always found, The stones may make you trip, Careful- the thorns prick. Dark, messy and neglected, My garden- Broken hoes and scattered seeds, Light and help are my needs, Careful- the darkness is deep. The winds destroyed everything, Not a chance for new birthing, My effort in chains tied, Light and help finding I've tried, Careful- the chains are old and rusty. Other gardens strive and flourish, I just need a little to cherish, Someone stop the storms and winds, Maybe good tidings it brings, Careful- the storms are disastrous. In my mind there's a garden, Dark, messy and neglected, Not a chance for new birthing, I just need a little to cherish, Careful- the garden seems dead! ©Gael
