We then do a little time skip after the death of everyone around him, Merlin waits for the promise of Arthur's rising. Modern life is not what is expected however...

I got the inspiration for this story from a similar oneshot on Fanfiction.net by Aeon The Dimensional Girl if the user wishes for me to take this one down I will, however I will point out that I expanded on the concept and definitely made it my own.
