[This is a Straight M.Reader x Beastars fanfic] (Y/N)'s a seventeen-year-old Snow Leopard. He grew up in the alpine region, where there weren't many beasts, since he lived in a small snowy town. When suddenly, his family was forced to move to the city. Though it had it's benefits, their son would attend Cherryton Academy. One of the most famous elite schools. His parents wished for their son to have a good future for himself, and Cherryton Academy seemed the most versatile option. Australia was once a country with Carnivores and Herbivores coexisting with the Omnivores. Humans, considered class Omnivores, came out with a strange pathogen. During the first week, humans were infected with a virus showing cannibalistic behaviour only to their own species. Biting. Eating the flesh of ones own species. Violent behaviour. It baffled scientists at it's cause, wondering what it is. Animals however, were invisible to the infected Omnivores. Humans were ignoring the Herbivores and Carnivores. Until, they too got infected.
