The announcement of the prince in need of a wife erupted through the kingdom, Marinette bypassing the news. She was currently in a relationship, but due to an unfortunate turn of events, she had been left.

The competition consisted of 35 girls; each of them wanting to collect the crown as well as the perfect husband. Among them, Marinette was getting over her ex, and trying to enjoy the experience of living as if she was royalty herself. The prince's heart may have been stolen by the bluenette, but Marinette wasn't as interested or as devoted as he was.

Every time serendipity would hit Marinette's path, another wave of unfortunate events would corrupt her clear vision. Was she destined with the future king of the country? Or, was she destined for her childhood lover? Was she even capable of loving some unconditionally?
