It all happened December 16 in the year X784. Tenrou Island and all those residing there were wiped completely off the map at the claws and roar of Acnologia. Once the news reached Fairy Tail, fearsome storms began to dot the kingdom of Fiore. 

Thunderstorms, raging winds, endless amounts of ice and hail, even a few earthquakes, but it all stemmed from the same heartbroken origin; Dealana Ka'ino. Fairy Tail's Tempest had lost control and her fighting spirit died. She took leave from her guild and what was left of her family in order to reign in her temperamental magic. 

Under the guidance of the Storm Talon Tribe, she was reborn in the lightning and thunder. She had the power of storms, the heart of a fairy and the will of a dragon. Dealana Ka'ino would reemerge over the course of seven long years as the Tempest Reborn.

Lucy held the picture in her hands, listening to the deafening roar of her opponent.
