What if...Is a common phrase. However, during Season 1 of My Hero Academia, Katsuki Bakugou requests Izuku Midoriya (Deku) to end his life by "Taking a swan dive off the building" But What if...he took this seriously. Suggesting that Deku would never enrol in UA and inherit One for All. Would everything be the same? Bakugou as the main character, he is a changed person. With his fixed personality, he dives deep and helps his friends out cages that they have locked themselves in.
This story is kind of a joke but it turned into an actual story that doesn't really make sense in context but who cares!
The story does contain the ship Kiribaku (Kirishima x Bakugou) which is a boy x boy so if you are uncomfortable with that then, too bad because it's in this book. :P
I also realised how quick Bakugou makes friends holt shit.

After Bakugo spends his whole life competing Izuku to be the best, they both land at rock bottom, or at least it feels that way to Bakugo. Growing up Bakugo attained feelings for the nerd, but his reaction to it was always anger. After Izuku becomes a teacher and rejects Bakugo's offer to join his agency even after all the work Bakugo, Iida, Shoto, and Uraraka put in to save up for a suit for him with Bakugo behind it all, Bakugo is left devastated. And it gets worse when videos and rumors start going around that the hero Uravity and Deku might now be dating. Was it possible that Bakugo took too long to tell Izuku how he really felt? Ever since Izuku Midoriya joined U.A. High School and settled in, he knew that the League of Villains were after him and his quirk: One For All. However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead. Midoriya is brought back to the League of Villains' hideout and with him there, Shigaraki plans on changing the young boy's mindset and plans to use force against him. When Midoriya isn't able to escape for three years and no one can seem to find him, he begins to lose hope and his wounds only bleed more. Even when he goes back in time with the help of a pro hero's quirk, he is diagnosed with depression and struggles to go on through life. He doesn't feel like himself. He needs someone. He decided not to apply to his childhood dream school 'UA', so when his mother 'Inko Midoryia' told him they were moving to a town a little further away he was fine with it. At his new school believe it or not he was one of the strongest kids there, it was a school for only quirkless kids of course. He started working out and got a lot stronger, he would sometimes sneak out with his friends and workout out with them. As said before his friends wasn't the nice bubbly kids you think he would have, in fact their not even close. Izuku changed from middle school and started drinking and smoking, he also tended to get in fights with random people for looking at him wrong. Clearly different from when he was growing up.
