My Poetry Escape
I may just be a girl. No one special. Nothing compared to others. In the eyes of the universe, I am just a little speck of dust. My light may not shine very bright, and it may not be of any use, but I am me. Writing is my only escape out of this world. I cry rivers of ink and climb mountains of words. I may not write as well as others, but my writing is just a different style. They're my feelings. I really do hope you can connect to some of the work in here. Please, do not copy any of this work without informing me first. Thank you! "My Escape" I have a supply, In the closet near my bed, Of past memories, Hanging by a thread. A thread, Connected to my mind, That thread, Just follows me around. I have a hole, In the middle of my heart, That hole fills up, When someone's torn apart. I have a tear, Accompanying my lonely eye, Knowing, whenever I'm alone, I can sit in a corner and cry. Even though, These things are there, I still have ink, a notebook, and a pen, To care. I write and write, To my heart's desire, New feelings erupt, By the hour. Writing is, My one escape, In this cruel and careless world, I have the power, to awake. "A Story Without Words" A story told, In a little tune, A golden smile, And a shining tear, Rolling down my cheek. A little breeze, The nice sun, A marvelous day, Turned into a wet one. The memories dripped, Down on my cotton white shirt, Leaving stains, On my malicious heart. Your smile, Worth a thousand words, Can't cheer up This depressive mind. A storm bewildered, Your indecisive mind, Drowning me, In my reckless thoughts. A rainy day, A gleaming lie, A story not told, With words Nor sounds. This story is, But a mere thought, In this universe We share, Every night. This story is, A withering storm, Drifting off, In this careless soul. Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. MY DESTINY WITH YOU
Azar Dua Mir was fine with being a shadow everywhere. Nobody necessarily acknowledged his presence every time. He was a force of nature, calm and serene like the sea waves during sunset. While capable of devastating everything around him if provoked. He had a tough childhood, lives in a complicated joint family, yearns for affection, and is extremely ambitious for his future. Ambitious to not die in poverty. He never had anything easy in life. The ambition of a rich and powerful life was his single aim. Then he met- Ayesha Abadal. "She was a beautiful princess living in the dazzling tower-way out of my reach. I might be beneath her in status, power, and money but I was innately ambitious. And now... she is my ambition. Deedar hua jab unka pehli baar, ishq ki gehraiyan dekhi Bas khud se wada kar liya tha, Meri ankhri sanson mein sirf unka naam hoga." {from her first gaze, depth of love flared my interest. In my last breath, her name would be the last whisper on my lips} Ayesha Abadal was a complete package of all the colors of life. Vibrant like yellows, bubbly like pink, innocent like blue, strong like red, soft like lavender, and so on and on. Just like her never-resting thoughts and imaginations. She wasn't worried about the future, lived in the present moment, was a proud member of the BTS army, and was a filmy girl. She never had to face the hard knocks of life. "He was the manifestation of my every dream. He was the only man in my life who blessed me with beautiful promises and the agony of broken promises." Never been in love but has the confidence to cherish the feeling. Two people from different worlds are set up to build their perfect world. What happens when they realize their dream life is falling apart, will sparks fly once again? Will they realize that the love they've both forgotten is exactly what they need to survive?

Pinwheels and Dandelions
I was kicked around like trash on the streets. I was the book that nobody could understand or read, but without a care, they were quick to rip out the pages. I screamed for attention, but time after time, I was ignored. Nobody noticed me, so I made myself at home in my own shadow. They say there's light at the end of the tunnel -- I searched and searched for it, but it could never be found. Therefore, I lost hope as I hid in the shade and endured what seemed like everlasting pain. The little hope I did have was snatched from my arms. My baby brother was my life, and they took my glimpse of hope away. Home. Is that a word? Maybe for a family of some kind, but for me, I never had a place to call home. I moved from place to place. Unstable foster care, fighting for my life in group homes, barely surviving in detention centers, and running away from being mistreated as I made many benches my temporary home. The only thing that I was familiar with was a black plastic bag containing my dirty rags. I am too young to know what it feels like to survive. These are the cards life has dealt me and I am not meant to win; however, I easily lose without trying. It is hard for me to find peace. I am paying for my mother's reckless actions. I am trapped in a world where the sun has died because I am unable to feel love. I am unable to dream. Sorrow is my aura, and the sadness hugs me. My eyes are closed shut by the barbed wire fence from my eyelashes as they prohibit tears from falling. I am damaged. When will the morning come? Did the sun put up a fight last night, like I do every single day? If I can survive the day, I know the sun isn't dead. One day, I will awake to a glorious sunrise. Until then, I hope my brother keeps blowing his pinwheel, and I will keep making wishes with every dandelion I come across. For now, all I know is that everything was taken from me, and the only thing I own is my name.Complete
