A series of short stories that would chill you to your bones~ Realize that the darkness would always win, that it's always lurking, lurking there. Because the brighter the light is, the darker the shadow caused. It's patient, it's persistent, it's relentless. It is everywhere. Originally named the Brighter the Light, the Darker the Shadow but the name was too name... If that name pops up anywhere, you know what it means now, because TBTL, TDTS might still be the name used somewhere throughout the book but I have no idea where all of it is and therefore don't really want to change it.

We were trying for so long to find normal that we forgot what it was. Forever we searched, we survived, we sacrificed, but in the end we had us. Us was a strange, very unlikely group of people. We didn't have much except secrets, sarcasm, and an endless amount of obstacles; but despite it all we had an epic story that was cut too short.

Enter the shoes of a man who experienced the fullness of life and death to an extent which none even him could never comprehend, but all knew even him who thought that he understood---was a call from whom? He doesn't know, from what? He doesn't know. What truly is certain of him is that everything that he knew was a mere empty space in a larger picture of life, death, and in what he presumes is called "reality" for he slowly realized that reality is only a reflection of his own human nature.
