Cancer changed Everly Sandalwood's life. Diagnosed at 16 with an abnormally aggressive cancer, Everly is admitted to the children's ward of a unique cancer treatment center outside of Charleston. The treatments are tough, and the crowd is tougher. But she can hang. She will give anything to fight for the life the nurses encourage her to dream of. Eight years later, Everly is lost in the vacuum of life- existing but not really living. After the lives of some old friends are disrupted, they come to visit and lay low for a while. Chris and Alex bring along their two best friends- their roommates and fellow teammates for the Charlottesville Stars. Together, these four game changers just might be enough to bring Everly back to the land of the living. Of course, she has to be willing to fight. --This is an RH novel.
