The Last Summer (Bughead Fanfic)
Betty Cooper had one last summer before she left for college. One last summer before Yale, and one last summer stuck in the awful town of Riverdale. She's never had a boyfriend, and according to her best friends, Veronica Lodge, Kevin Keller, and Cheryl Blossom, she's never lived. So, her friends give her a challenge. Make a summer bucket list of everything she wants to do, and after she lives, she can go be a perfect student again at Yale. Seems easy enough. But when old feelings start to get in the way of her plans, will she complete all the items on her list, and finally live? I do not own any of the characters. The characters and the show Riverdale all belong to the CW. The plot, however, is mine. Idk if I'll ever finish this story, since I am super unmotivated and I did plan for it to be pretty long. AU in which Betty grew up with her abusive parents Alice and Hal cooper. Her brother and sister abandoned her. When she's 10 she decides to learn self defence, boxing and weapons training secretly to protect herself however she doesn't have the strength to stand up to her parents at such a young age. When they die tragically a few years later Betty is taken by social services and moved from foster home to foster home many of which abused her or worse. At 15 she finally managed to find some relatives that were nice and were willing to take her in. The blossoms. She meets new friends and old ones and a secret brother she knew nothing about, however no-one knows about her past except the fact that it was traumatising or the fact that she is badass that is the strongest person both physically and mentally and doesn't need protection. Will all come to light when she is kidnapped the night of her initiation to become Serpent Queen? Will she survive or will those trying to get to Betty hurt the ones she loves so she sacrifices herself?Complete

After break-up, Jughead and Betty managed to be friends for entire year, having calls and texts, sharing things about their lifes in university. Jughead tried really hard to keep it that way until he couldn't. One drunken call and their lifes changed in many ways. They started the hating competition - how rude and mean you can be to each others, how can you hurt other one even more? They don't see each other often, only few times in past several years, but they keep leaving messages here and there, hurtful ones. They hear things from their friends and family, but no, they don't wanna see each other. Jughead knows Betty likes to go out with Veronica and she works hard, she has a cat. Betty knows Jughead has a girlfriend, again, and he writes still.
