Sam, the petite, poor college student, runs into the owner of the largest gambling ring in the world, Colby Brock, on his way to work. Literally runs into him. Before running off, Sam catches two things: pure blue eyes, and a gold ring with the initials 'C.B'

A year or so later, Sam's still working as a barista at the local gay bar, when someone walks in. A ring clad hand taps the counter as the owner orders a drink. One ring makes a particularly loud sound against the stone. A ring with the initials 'C.B'

Sam's life flips upside down, going from struggling to pay rent and college tuition, to living in penthouses and mansions with million-dollar pizzas.
