There is always the good guy and the bad guy in the shows they show on the television. But in real life there was me, Jenny Heather Chaning the most awkward teen at high school, the weird girl who sits alone while reading books and the girl who would never get a date in the near future because i was lame and boring. But my life isn't as ugly as it seems......

It may feel good to be pretty, but the problem with being beautiful is that there are thousands of people who look like you. Ugliness, however, is unique. ------------------- One girl, a walking-talking example of contradictions -- ambitious but naive, kind but blunt, social but awkward -- is living in perhaps the most competitive society in this world. Okay I know I might be over exaggerating but I'm seriously forever alone. I mean I'm 16 and I've never had my first kiss! Guys don't even look in my direction! I'm not the most popular girl in school but I'm not a complete nerd! And I mean I know I'm not the prettiest girl around but I don't look like medusa!
