(The title is Tagalog, a reference to my Filipino origin. All stories are written in English, though.) Please excuse any errors my 13/14-year-old self has written. I didn't want to change anything, as it's proof of how far I've come.All Rights Reserved

Something you'd like to reflect on, give a shining ray of light in this time of uncertainty and frustration. A piece that you can refer back to and say "Hey, I survived this" with a soft smile. May it be a song, poem, a short story or article-based. Be it in English or Malay. May it be focused on your surroundings, the ones you love, the ones you wish to inspire or yourself. Filipino Scares: a Collection of Short Stories by professorstan

A man with survivor's guilt tries to make peace with his friend's death. A former actress gets more than what she bargained for when she makes a video scandal. A teenaged boy has a fatal meeting with adulthood. And a young woman's choice to save a cat changes her entire future. These are just some of the stories collected in "Filipino Scares," an anthology of sixteen tales with different kinds of horror and monsters.
