Unmasked is a place where you can tell your story how you want it told, let people know you how you want to be known. It is a world where you can be a nameless, faceless soul, known only for who you truly are, not the body you've been given or the labels imposed on you. It is a place where you can be true to yourself, while your secrets are still secret. It is a place to leave your brain and your logic behind and to simply surrender to your heart and to allow it to scream the cries you smothered, voice the desires you buried and free the truths you kept captive.

We do switch from one mask to another for every person in life. We do say "I am an open book in front of a particular person" but we all know either 1 or the other thing maybe the most minor thing that can be. We do hide from that person. Does that mean we are lying? Does that mean we are not loyal or trustworthy? Does that mean we don't value their love and care? Does that mean we are playing with feelings? Prologue Let me take the liberty to share these observations and experiences of my life, through this book on Human Faces. I intend to portray the hypocritical state of humankind in this society, by introducing some inevitable characters, for reinforcing the message to all. Man has been living for so many centuries with religious bigotry, discriminations and national prejudices, which emerge from the conditioned minds, that lead to all calamities in life, because, if mind supersedes intelligence, there shall be only fanatism of any kind, hence all types of societal classifications shall arise. This world has been hypnotized, through all our upbringing, in a way that, mind becomes the beacon, in this ocean of life, wherein the gifted intelligence, is treated as an alien and thereby man loses the foundation, to view life in its totality. Child is a steampunk sci-fi thriller. In second person, present tense, you, a mostly introverted, non-binary ten year old, are found at a train station with no belongings and no memory, by a nice woman in a WWI style gas mask. When nobody can find any leads as to who your parents are or where you came from, she adopts you as her own child. Your search for truth and need for belonging lead you on a bizarre adventure involving a group of train thieves, a message conveyed through ant trails, a group of unqualified astronauts, a chocolate milk-loving drag queen, and a lot of things you would give your left ear to unsee. I'm not sure what this is going to be when I'm done. I've finished the whole plot narrative, but I have to fix the writing, because it's too fast-paced and it's supposed to be slow. Constructive criticism is appreciated. I feel like I should say this so nobody gets confused: It isn't related to anything going on now. It's future/past. The mask thing is just a sci-fi thing.Complete
