Eloise "Love" Waves has been living with Cystic Fibrosis her whole life, and just two months ago, Love was told that her lung function is very low and that she'll need a lung transplant as soon as possible, but the only problem is... there are no lungs available. Every day is a struggle for Love, so she spends her time in the hospital: writing and living by quotes to help her be positive.

Augustus Blue hasn't been very fond of making sacrifices. Especially now that he is terminally ill and dying and has decided to keep it a secret from his friends. Just three months after his diagnosis, Augustus decided to end his life through Dignitas, but gave his parents one whole year to change his mind. At first, Augustus believed that it was impossible, until he meets someone who is in the same position as him: Love.

Augustus and Love never thought that they would have anything in common: He's the charming player and she's the hopeless romantic. Until they meet in the flooded basement of an aquarium. At first, they had zero interest in each other, they never even talked nor shared a respectable smile, but then after sharing heartfelt conversations, whispering sweet nothings, and multiple nights of a saying; "see you in the cosmos", they both realize that there might be more to their relationship then they thought.

But, its obviously not easy for each of them as one is going through their own personal stuff. Augustus has his secret and Love is waiting for what feels like eternity for her new lungs. Is this just a chemical reaction or is this something real and could possibly end with heartbreak?
