In a world ravaged by monsters, the people called upon the Gods to help them, and so they answered. Over time, the humans managed to build strong cities, fortified heavily with tall walls, and defended by Talent holders. The Gods continued to give Talents to people, and they continued to fight the monsters with these powers granted onto them.
