Lyra McCullough is an average student at Dukescrest college that spends most of her time either listening to the best pop-punk bands from before the twenty-first century and/or playing video games. Trying to get through her high school years is made easier with the help of her two friends, Sienna and Idril, but when she meets Michael Clifford, a boy who is difficult right from the start, she's not sure whether her strong feelings towards him are positive or negative, yet even mutual.
