Crystal is done with school, done with her family, done with her town. Her boyfriend Caveman is a burnout who may or may not be haunted by nightmarish apparitions. Those apparitions may or may not be connected with a mysterious object of power Crystal finds in a local pond. And that power may or may not have something to do with the sinister forces looming over their small town of Fortune like a dark cloud.

*Story is virtually finished. I uploaded about half of it and will try to upload a new chapter every day or as often as I have time to until it's done.*

I wrote this story with someone very dear to me on my mind, saying it's a fan-inspired-fiction 😂 I imagine there will be a few readers who can guess who that person is. Even still, this is just a story I created. Another story that told me how it wanted to be written. I imagine that somewhere in another world or another timeline, Clover is real. That this is his name and this is his life. No matter what story I am telling, it belongs to somebody somewhere. Somebody that just wants to be heard. Somebody that just wants to be seen. That is until they see an unexpected crystal on a hiking trail that changes their lives. They finally realize it was not an accident that brought them there, and they gain special powers from the island. They have to work together and stop whoever is doing this to them to go home. Unexpected love, betrayal, and heartbreak burden them during their journey. They are only eighteen years old. They can't be expected to make it out alive.
