They say money cannot buy happiness, but neither can poverty. Everything in life is linked one way or another to money. The rich grow richer while the impoverished are trapped in a cycle of poverty, despite all strategies to skedaddle; that is the tragedy of life. Every single day, there are billions of people rushing to work for the rich and they are paid just enough money to keep them poor and wretched. This narrative explores life on the post-colonial fringes of the third world. Through the lens of Peter Fonkam, a young innocent caught in the crossfire, it delves into the interplay of turmoil and peace, joy and sadness, abundance and scarcity. Born and raised by middle class parents, his life had been smooth, but the reality of his corrupt world, will soon take him unaware. Maybe money is not everything, but in his world, it sure seems so.

🫶 ᴷöⁿⁱᵍ ˣ ᴼᶜ ᶠᵉᵐᵃˡᵉ ʳᵉᵃᵈᵉʳ 🫶 Sometimes life is unfair to many people. Sometimes life comes at a great price for many people and sometimes one of those people is you. Life is about survival. No one is trustworthy and if you think they are...you are fooling yourself... Living a carefree life only happens to the rich and God's favorite darlings. But for people like you and me...all it takes is a great skill or a pretty face. Are you the prey or are you the hunter? But sometimes...maybe everything I said was in vain...because 𝐈 𝐦𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐦 and all my sins were forgiven or that's what I had thought.
