As you all probably know, the Autobots and Decepticons have been waging a war for as long as history with Optimus leading the Autobots and Megatron leading the Decepticons. They were once the best of friends but now are sworn enemies after Optimus recieved the Matrix of Leadership for Primus(ancient god of creativity and creator of all Cybertronians). Most have predicted that in order to end the war, one must terminate the other. Optimus however wishes that he could someday change Megatron's mind to stop the war in peace without having to kill his ex - best friend.  He might just get to do that with the help of someone he hadn't layed eyes on since his school days.

The war has ended, leaving Megatron as a prisoner and Optimus as the new leader of Cybertron. Unwilling to execute Megatron for hate of killing yet another mech, Optimus devises a plan to hopefully change Megatron for the better. But there are always flaws with even the best of plans, so the Prime must take the good with the bad as he tries to show Megatron that even he can feel happiness. (Chapter three was deleted by a wattpad glitch, so the story will be a little choppy without that section. Not to worry, it doesn't mess up anything too important!)

Months later, a restless Prime sparks a battle of wills with Primus and gets himself kicked out of the Allspark. When he wakes, he finds himself and Megatron revived--with a twist. They don't look like themselves, and the Autobots don't believe Optimus is really Optimus. That leaves them with only one place to turn to, and the Decepticons there are more willing to take in the former Prime than they are Megatron. The definition of Megaop, as defined by this story: Megatron really wants to kill Optimus, but Optimus has bigger problems than Megatron's assassination attempts. #1 Megaop 2024 - Obvious cuz the definition is accurate ^
