Up until this point, Nicholas Sharp's life had been a struggle and a deep dark secret that only he knew. He wasn't afraid to conceal it and he wasn't ashamed by it. He just wanted to let it go! He finally decided to open up to the press about it.

The following is his tale, as he reflected on it to the media in late 2008, after being drafted to the National Hockey League's (NHL's) Denver Snow Leopards. An interviewer sat down with the star forward and asked him one question, "What was your childhood like?"

Well I like hockey and I'm a fan of the mystery/thriller genre which involves kidnapping, so I combined them. So I hope you enjoy it. And yes, there may be some disturbing ideas later in this novel, but that's why I put the trigger warning up literally thousands of times with this. :) Sorry if this isn't your cup of tea, I just wanted to try something new and test out an interesting novel idea.
