Parents have been telling their children cautionary tales for years. What if one of those tales came true? Jack and Matt, two kids that are growing up in a wonderfully uneventful, unextraordinary neighborhood run across a deranged woman in their sacred playground, The Valley. Nobody believes them, not even their friends. However, this chance encounter with the supernatural sets off a string of events with deadly consequences which are fueled by anger, fear and suspicion among the local community.
