Paradoxical Sleep

A dangerous villain, with a rare quirk that has never been seen before. The top two heroes meet under not so desirable circumstances. Can they get along long enough to stop this madman that wants nothing more than destroy the world's top two heroes by keeping them trapped in his quirk created reality with no means of escape? What would happen if only one is able to escape while saving the other? Who saves who? Who is now doomed to be lost forever at the hands of REM's quirk? The hero who wins by saving or the hero who saves by winning? Things are never easy for these two and its not going to start here.

["Bakugou! Are you there? Please respond man! Are you okay?! What's the situation!? Hello! Bakugou! Everyone is two minutes away! Just hang on two more minutes!"
Ignoring my headset completely, I look for any movement from Deku. I can't tell if he's breathing, "Deku!" I scream out, he doesn't flinch. I rip Deku's mask off and rush towards REM in rage of red furry. REM's smoke is creeping towards Deku's face and there isn't much time...I reach Deku with just enough time to cover his face with his mask and put my own hand over mine. I feel a sharp pain hit the back of my head and then everything goes black.]

So, my friend @Tanithiaria gave me a prompt and story requirements as a dare, with a week to finish it. Let's' just say I had way too much fun writing it and wrote more than what was required! I hope you guys like this story as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Story Requirements:
-BakuDeku, Pro-Hero status AU, Pining
-Katsuki and Izuku's dreams are linked and they slowly start to fall in love with the other but don't know until the very end that everything they did in their dreams, they were doing with the actual person.
-Meaning, they think it's a dream of their own, but they're actually interacting with each other.
-Must be at least 3k words and include a flower, a bench, and a waterfall
