Alexandria Halstead is a journalist in the small town of Deadwood, South Dakota.
She always seems to find herself exploring abandoned places and exploring the trees of the black hills.
One day she's at a party with her best friend when her entire life changes.
She finds herself without the one thing she depends on most and her emotions degrade as her mental health follows.
She decides to leave the country and live somewhere new.
She meets these boys in the airport and clicks with them but something seems familiar with them.
