After Mia's older brother gets cancer her world is turned upside down. Between being pulled out of school and moved to a new place it was hard to stay in touch with her old friends which just seem to fade into a distant memory. Her life just gets harder as her strict aunt comes to live with them to help out and they have to leave their home to live at temporary place near the hospital. But it was possible to make friends because the people either spoke a foreign language or they left. Will Mia ever have things back to normal? Will her older brother get better?
