Elmore, as you know it, is a wacky town filled to the brim with wacky inhabitants. This is however a lie. The inhabitants are creatures born from combining Human DNA and animal DNA by the US government. They have been placed there with no knowledge of what's actually going on.

 Years later, Gumball accidentally breaches containment on a bus passing by and ends up in Los Angeles.

 His random appearance shatters what people thought for a long time. The government try to cover it up, but ultimately fail.
