In an era where new machinery has brought stability, peculiarities are a direct attack against a secure way of life. These peculiarities often come in the form of people with supernatural abilities. Terrified of ostracization, they are forced into a life of suppression and normalcy. To make matters worse, groups of mech enhanced hunters are dedicated to capturing Peculiars and ridding them from the world.

Winnifred Graham is a Peculiar with a control over gravity. After years of being doomed to the earth, she longs for freedom. Her opportunity comes in the form of Edgar Strange, a man who is fascinated by Peculiars and seeks to rescue them from their hateful society.

Winnifred and Strange embark on a journey across the world to find other Peculiars and take them to a place of acceptance. With hunters on their trail, fearful villages, and a mysterious man hot on their heels, they can't afford to let their guard down. However, even in the midst of chaos, Winnifred and Strange's growing ragtag bunch of Peculiars make time for a few small adventures along the way.
