The labs is stationed on Irk in a secret location and often kidnap their subjects for testing. They work so they can come up with people to be used as super weapons and make the Irken race even more powerful and cure any 'errors' in their psychology.

Their test subjects are a group of teen prisoners who have offered freedom after the tests are complete, assuming they survive. The tests succeed and the teens are equipped with strange abilities that make them the most powerful humans on the planet. Things take a turn for the worst when a tragic accident leads to the deaths of most of the scientists. The teens are now mostly by themselves, stuck on an island, with dangers lurking at every corner. Just because they have powers doesn't mean that they're invincible. Welcome to the Testing Grounds my little lab rats. You have a simple objective, get out alive. You will have forty eight hours to accomplish this task. Rules of the Testing Grounds. The collar around Trinity’s neck emits a painful electric shock and it would be wise to remember that. You go anywhere I don’t want you to, I will shock Trinity. If you attempt to contact anybody outside, I will shock Trinity. If you don’t take part in and play my games, I will shock Trinity. If you attempt to remove the collar, I will kill Trinity. If you are left in the Testing Grounds after forty eight hours have passed, I will send the Exterminators after you.
