Daffodil and Magnum are bestfriends since college. They decided to go cruising for two days on the new yacht Alicia which Daffodil had bought. Daffodil told Magnum that she will teach her how to commander the yacht.

When Magnum tried commandeering Alicia, she accidentally collided a large rock causing a tragedy that both of them are not prepared to face. Before the yacht completely sank, they realized that there is only one life vest available for their disposal!

Magnum offered the vest to Daffodil but it was the latter who was unlucky. The water currents separated them and Daffodil was found dead later with her body floating by the sea while Magnum was rescued.

When Daffodil's body was autopsied, there was a crack on her skull caused by a blunt force as well as wounds on her body. Now Magnum is faced with the accusations of her killing her bestfriend.
