The first thing anyone can tell you about me, whether they know me from Wattpad, school or they're a part of my family is the fact that I am a proud Anglo-American.
I met Vinegar at Dragcon 2022, being christened in an autograph message her "brit babe" after she expressed confusion about an American knowing where Leeds was. The older I get, the more I identify with the fact that, technically, I was British first. The British side of my family is all I have. I'm first gen, baby. Only American since infancy and it's not weird at all. My best memories are in Wales and England. My queen on the UK side of things is Cheryl. What can I say? I have a soft spot for the girls that did mediocre then went out in a blaze of maybe not glory but certainly something on their season and do bloody amazing after. I'm going to Durham University, following in the footsteps of my dad and godfathers. I didn't even apply to any American Universities.
Point being, I'm barely American, despite mostly living in the States my whole life. My Britishness has never been questioned or debated. The time I spent hiding, or at least protecting it has been able to fool everyone, though. But not these people. I felt safe after DRUK aired- I saw proof that all Americans didn't hate British people, after all.

"What is going on with you?" she practically yelled. I looked at her and shrugged. "Seriously, Juggie. You're so damn confusing. One minute you act like you hate me the next you are defending me and acting like you love me. You make no sense" she ranted. She glared at me and I chuckled. "I love it when you call me Juggie. It's hot" I said and she continued to glare at me in silence. "I didn't know what I wanted before. I do now" I said casually. "Really? And what is that?" She fumed. "You, baby." I smirked. Betty moved away years ago when her parents divorced. Her mother wanted a fresh start in New York. Everyone promised to keep in touch but, of course, they didn't. Only her cousin. Cheryl stuck by Betty. Betty survived though. She made new friends and her mother remarried making Veronica her sister and best friend. Jughead was broken when Betty left. Losing her changed him. As the years wore on, he became darker and cruel. He joined his Dad in the Serpents and truly loved the gang lifestyle. Archie felt hollow since Betty left. He distracted himself with football and girls and had earned himself quite a reputation. Betty and Veronica became best friends while they're mothers dated. They both embraced the New York party lifestyle. Betty changed from a sweet, quiet girl to a bit of a wild child but kept her heart of gold. That is, until Betty and Veronica move to Riverdale with their mothers. Jughead and Archie are shocked to see Betty again. One of them view her as a challenge, the other as prey. 72 hours
I hated Blue for almost 10 years. It took me 72 hours to fall in love with her. Even though it might seem unusual for a 17 year old, I have a habit of timing things. In 6th grade it took me 2 hours to stand on the boogie board without falling on the water. Almost 5 days to read 'Dracula' in freshman year and 7 days to gather courage and ask a girl called Mary to go out with me. 12 minutes to set up an Instagram account and half an hour to organize my room every time we come to Cousins. Honestly, I don't know why I do it. To make my dad's watch or maybe to get a sense of control. Regardless of the motive, I've done it since I was a kid. The numbers make sense, I was afraid of falling so it took me a while to learn to stand confidently on the board, afraid of being rejected so it took me a whole week to ask a girl out. But I can't, for the love of my sanity, explain what happened this past week. Ellie is someone I never liked, since the day she compared me to Sid, from the Ice Age, things between us have been a war zone. I can't help it, she gets under my skin like no one else ever did. So I'd like to understand why, while we were stuck together during a storm, it took me just 72 hours to fall in love with her. -- 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' fanfiction. This is a Barchie story will include fictional scenarios after the events that occurred in 5x08. I know the ending of this episode was so disappointing so I am here to try to mend broken hearts like mine. Here is the Barchie storyline that we all deserve. We've patiently waited for far too long and since the writers can't give us the content we barchies deserve, I'll try my best to give it to you all.
