i don't own any of the characters except from toni and later on officers Samson, davidson, maxton and Maywood, jacob(who is only in one chapter) and general malcom the rest are all from James dashner brilliant adventure across the maze runner books which almost all the plot is his from his legendary series credit got to him for the fantastic characters

this is about a girl who stands up for herself and doesn't always listen to others opinions and thinks irrationally sometimes but does it for the people she loves and has some issues with trusting authority figures but will always look after those she cares for before herself and she will stop at nothing to protect her friends and her family even if it is a dumb think like getting herself killed along the way because she always puts them first which doesn't help her stubbornness toward being told what to do

this book is based lightly of the books but more focused on the films storyline since wes ball did an amazing job of the trilogy and the film's cinematography was top notch considering he was a first time director for the first film.

Thomas turns to the side, checking himself out in the mirror. "Tell me, Kelsey. How do I look?" I look at his orange tank top and cargo pants, with a gray hoodie tied around his waist. "It's your costume, Sangster. It looks dirty and worn-out, as it should. Why do you care what I think, anyways? You don't need my approval." "Call me Thomas. Coming from you, it sounds better than my last name." He chuckles to himself before stepping away from the mirror and walking towards me. He leans over and puts his lips right next to my ear, his warm breath sending shivers down my neck. "And that's true. I don't need your approval. But whoever said I don't want it?" ----------------- Kelsey Harris is an eighteen-year-old college student who has absolutely no idea what she wants to do with her life. She spends her time working at the local restaurant and spending time with her parents, boyfriend, and best friend. Well, Kelsey's life is about to get real. When her uncle, film director Wes Ball, invites her to help out as an assistant on the set of his new film, The Maze Runner, she accepts in a heartbeat. She's eager to escape from her hometown and experience life on the set of a movie. And maybe, just maybe, she'll learn a thing or two about herself, too. On the set, Kelsey finally starts to figure out what she wants to do with her life while making friends with the cast and crew members. She's happy that she's found such an unexpected new group of friends. But what happens when a certain actor begins to challenge everything Kelsey's ever known? Completed November 2016.
