Being a first responder can lead to a lot of things happening all at once. Tk is always pretty good at dealing with these things and he always has been. especially now that he has Carlos to help him get through everything, but there are also a lot of other things that the he has to deal with out side of work. thing like PTSD and nightmares. especially the nightmares. what happens when one night one of thoughts nightmares can change everything, for better or for worse. what happens when a week of off calls at work and wired shifts leaves the young couple on shaky ground? can they cope and how will they do it? can the two men except the risks that they each have to take to keep Austin safe or will one call change everything for ever?

This story is about tk and Carlos finding each other after so many years apart. But it comes with difficulties. Tk has a bad addiction opioid. He is deep in the need to remove his anxiety and stress with drugs. Feeling the pain ease. Carlos is trying to be him self but also have a better role in his job. But he really wants tk. But tk makes it really difficult. By denying Carlos because tk doesn't wanna put his problems on Carlos. It's also the deep feeling in him that liking Carlos is wrong. That it's a sin.
