Someone gets bullied,

Just because

"They're different"

"Nerdy"

"Annoying"

"Have no sense of fashion..."

All those things are of unimportance...!




Everyone has a choice,

Don't let what someone says, change it!

You could stand down...

Watch as the victim pleads for help...

That's the easy path,

But is it the right one?

Do you want that on your consciousness?




The pain can be so bad...

It takes a life...

Then it's too late,

Regret becomes your best mate...




A depressing thought...

Although.

It doesn't have to be that way...!

YOU can make it change!

Stand tall, speak loud,

Stand up for what is right!

That one action...

Can save a life...!




You could make a friend,

A REAL friend.

Spread awareness and

Right the wrong!

Be brave!

For those who suffer...

You're not alone...!




If there's no knight to slay

The evil demons away...

Find it within you, to be strong!

If you get no help, save yourself!

You deserve happiness, and it will come!

For karma never forgets you!

Nor your enemies...

Once it comes around, it will go around...

Your ears are ringing, echoing in your brain, and everything hurts so badly. Your vision is going blurry as you try to fight back the tears, and you're wondering why you even try anymore. At one point or another, most of us have experienced the feeling of worthlessness, shame, or guilt. We feel like we're at rock bottom, and it seems like nothing will ever get any better no matter how hard we try. One thing we do know for sure, though, is that where there is dark, there is bound to be light, no matter how small that speck may be. There's always hope, no matter how far out of reach it may seem. Greetings dear readers! This is my first ever poems book. And um I wrote these all based on my personal experiences. As you may journey through chapters of this book based on my life and events throughout. A little sprinkle of the chapters are fictional but nearly all are non-fiction straight from reality. Hopefully you will love this journey with me. Few of these poems are dedicated to my friends or based on their experiences/point of view. Most poems may contain heartbreak or sad feelings but still the majority of the poems are about love, happiness and positivity. I am so glad that I am in a better place now, looking back on my life just a while ago I was not the person I am today. With the help of people I love the most I have overcome everything I needed to dodge. CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy.
