For the last few months, people all across Kansas have reported signs of kids and teens showing unnatural, even unhuman, abilities. No one knew what to make of them, or how their abilities originated. All that was known is that the powers only manifested in those under twenty, and that as of now, no child with an ability was the same.
"We are pleased to announce the opening of a facility in Wichita that will test and discover the cause of these abnormalities in our home. All those under twenty that have reports of being Abled will be required to go there, be tested, and when the time is right, they will be allowed to return home. I myself will join them in Wichita, ensuring they are treated as needed. This is mandatory, and anyone found harboring an Abled, will be punished accordingly."

The Unordinary
Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Test day. The day we knew was coming and had been dreading the most. Today is the end of what we have known and the beginning of the unknown. We will be tested, graded, and shipped off to where our tests assign us. There is no freedom of choice, no independence, and nothing to look forward to. All of us have been together since the beginning and can remember the good ol' days of playing outside, dressing how we wanted, and being free to be who we were and wanted to be without having to worry about getting shot because of it. What I remember most is going to the library and having the ability to choose whatever book we wanted to and in those days there were too many books to choose from. Those days are long gone. The ruling government now makes all our choices for us. The freedom of everything was taken away along with all of our rights, until today. We are ready to fight back and take control of our country for our generation and those that follow. We may be 14 years old, but we have a mission and that mission is to fight for and regain the freedoms that were lost. Today is the beginning of the unknown.

Y/n Powers. (Yes powers is her last name, it's kinda funny) She looks like your average girl but she's not. We'll get into that later. She's friends with a group boys that one day find a girl with super powers. They were looking for there from, Will. A part of the group. Turns out he was in another dimension. Fast forward a year and we defeat if again. The mind flay, to be exact. I have powers that no one knows about, well someone does. The person I trust most. Will. The only reason I didn't help defeat it was cause my powers would have killed someone. So I didn't use them. Plus chose to do it herself. We got a new member of the group. Max. She's from California. She use to hate us- now we couldn't be closer. Fast forward five months, and me and Will confessed our feelings for each other. Mike and El did, too. But it was kinda obvious that they liked each other. El told me about a girl that is strong but I don't know if she's talking about me. Now we are all just happy and all together. Like a family. Still, society was skeptical of such a rare breed of humans being out and about. So Asylums from worldwide decided to take in the gifted children. Shyla asylum was no different. Now we have Ajin. If only they knew about who else was inside of his body along with him... someone who holds a lot more bloodlust and power than the child does himself.
