The Giant war is over and that means peace at last, right?
Wrong.
Percy comes home one day to find 9 Olympian gods in his living room. Why, you may ask? Well it appears the gods don't learn from their mistakes as these nine have lost their symbols of power.
Zeus' bolt, Hades' helm, Poseidon's trident, Athena's shield Aegis, Aphrodite's mirror, Artemis's hunting knives, Apollo's lyre, Hermes's caduceus and Ares's shield.
Percy has been 'voluntold' to take on this quest.
Here's the catch: the deities must join him on his journey, for every moment that passes without their symbols, they grow weaker.
What starts as an innocent (and supposedly easy) quest, takes a surprising turn as some of Percy's secrets are uncovered.
A tale of family, secrets, and an 'out with the old, in with the new' plot twist, read to find out just what Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon and Hero of Olympus is hiding.
