"You can call me Fa Yu Yin!" he called out, jabbing his thumb at his chest with great pride.

This is the story of a selfless, righteous cultivator who would face a great many trials, who was blessed since birth with talents and gifts, who would become notorious for his- No that's not right, hold on-

This story is nothing like that. Quite the opposite actually. Meet Fa Yu Yin, a degenerate ambitious cultivator who will 'by any means necessary' achieve immortality. A motif he both lives by and follows. However his life is literally the definition of a calamity. Now if that isn't bad enough, our main character will also be forced to face a great threat to his goals. Who knew being the reincarnation of a tyrant emperor two hundred years ago would come back to bite you in the ass? Clearly not Fa Yu Yin, until now, that is.

Follow the story on how Fa Yu Yin digs himself out of this one, as well as get reacquainted with friends and foes alike from the past, and possibly even lovers.

MDZS fan fiction keeping in tune with the original plot. All Characters belong to Mo Xiang Ting Xiu. Lan Zhan has always found it difficult to express his feelings. If it weren't for his uncle Lan Qiren and his elder brother Lan Xichen, he would perhaps be derided as a retard. However Lan Zhan is gifted, a superb cultivator excelling in swordsmanship and musical cultivation. His autism has helped him stay focussed on things he can use to express himself in place of words. He has never been close to anyone outside his family and his clan, The Gusu sect of Jiangnan, never been in love and has always strived to be perfect. Rules, law, justice and etiquette meant the world to him. Everything gets thrown away when he meets a fellow cultuvator from Yunmeg. Wei Ying wasn't supposed to come to come to Gusu. He was not affiliated to any of the prominent families. His father was a servant of the Jiang clan. His mother was a rogue cultivator. The Jiang Clan Sect leader had taken him in when he was barely nine years old, both his parents dead. Since then he had shown an exceptional aptitude for cultivation becoming the head disciple of the Jiang clan, exceeding the heir Jiang Cheng and causing Madam Yu, Sect Leader Jiang's wife extreme displeasure. Wei Yang's temperament was the opposite of Lan Zhan. He made friends easily and took Madam Yu's abuse as well as Juang Cheng's jealousy in his stride. He was indebted to them for his upbringing and gave way to their unreasonable response to his excellence. What happens when Wei Ying's easy acceptance meets Lan Zhan's unwavering discipline? Will that discipline crumble and what shall it then release?

**INDEFINITE HIATUS** In 2018, Xiao Zhan filmed 'The Untamed'. A lot of things happened since then. He woke up one day at a rather familiar place with some familiar faces. It was the day of his first lesson in Cloud Recesses. Thinking that it was a vivid lucid dream, he broke out of character to satisfy his curiosities. The next day, he still woke up in the same place. After a week of screaming upon waking up, he finally accepted in despair that he was not dreaming, and he was in MDSZ novel universe (or is it?). He determined to not die like Wei Wuxian, prevent tragedies and change the future. The first time Lan Wangji met Wei Wuxian, they fought on the roof. When he dreamed of the cliff scene and felt the sorrow and regret of losing someone he loved while watching helplessly at the falling figure, it plagued his mind greatly. He became even more disturbed when he noticed Wei Ying's changes. The two became close. Really close. Together, they planned to save the world and while they were doing just that... Enjoy the OP 'Wei Wuxian' with Xiao Zhan's temperament a.k.a Wei Wuxian 2.0 (the tamed version). ****** A/N: All illustrations in this story belongs solely to me (I drew them myself). That being said, do not re-use without permission. Also warning: A LOT OF WORDS and lots of nonsense. Perhaps a mountain full of grammatical error as well. This is my fanfic (and my first ever attempt on writing anything at all). So if you spot a mistake, don't be shy, point it out to me. Disclaimer: This is a fanfiction inspired by Modao Zushi by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. I do not own the characters associated with the original work and I make no profit from writing this fanfic. This is only for fun.
