The protagonist is Haru Jager Kobayashi, a young man who is trying to follow his father's footsteps.
He graduates and becomes a pilot, partnering up with Emilia Rose Weiss to pilot a "mechanischerjäger " or a mechanical hunter.
Events transpire that will send Haru on a journey of discovery that will change him as a person.
He falls in love and will do everything in his power to save it, will he risk everything or learn to let go?

Only when Mandy learns Akkadi’s secret and walks away does he realize he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her – even if it means losing his war.
