After getting off work, Atlas saw a large crowd along the street he usually walked to get home. Curiously, he tried to see what was going on but tripped and died on the sidewalk. At the same time, Milo saved a woman and her son from getting hit by a rogue car. He died at the same time and in the same place as Atlas. Together, they got reincarnated into another world. One was supposed to be there because the Gods called him, the other got lost and decided to come along. The Encounter
