In the modern world, everything is run by electricity. Lights, hospital equipment, smartphones, and much more. Many lives are run by electricity even if they don't realize. But what would happen if suddenly the world goes dark?

On March 18, 2015, the world was asked this question. The answer was chaos. It was the afternoon in New York City. Students were in class and adults were walking around in the heart of the city. Big screens were showing ads to people walking by until suddenly, the screens went dark and seconds later, a car accident happened. Traffic lights were not working and vehicles were getting into crashes. At the same time, lights suddenly turned off in buildings that alarmed people.

People started to freak at the disappearance of power as more screens were being turned off. Slowly, the city went dark in the middle of the day. Many ran into the streets looking for an answer as chaos ensured. People were confused and scared while some took this chance to commit crimes like robbing stores. In the hospitals, heart rate monitors flatlined as all of the patient's life support was turned off.

Unknown to the residents of New York City, the rest of America went quiet as more and more cities went dark. The aftermath of the event saw a desperate nation trying to regain its power by riots or by gunfire.

Now, Noah and his group of friends must strive to survive in this new world. Would he meet his demise trying to protect his loved ones or would he survive by taking a life to protect the people that he care for.
