Bai Fengjiu is the oldest and most feared Goddess in Heaven. Many tremble at the mere mention of her name-mistaking her icy demeanor for cruelty. Yet, few know that beneath her frosty exterior lies a heart that is both childish and carefree. She has lived for so long that she no longer dares to act immaturely, hiding her true self behind a veil of cold perfection. During one of her solitary adventures, Fengjiu saves a young boy from Qingqiu. Their paths cross repeatedly through strange entanglements, until she eventually decides to kidnap him-though not for reasons one might expect. But fate intervenes. An unforeseen accident separates them, and years later, they meet again in the mortal realm, both unable to remember their shared past. Fengjiu is gravely injured, and the young man offers her help. Touched by his kindness, she brings him back to Heaven with the intent to make him her husband. But Heaven is no sanctuary. A storm of betrayal and politics erupts, forcing Fengjiu to make a decision that will change everything-for herself and for the realms. There's one more thing: Fengjiu cannot feel love. She has never known it, nor does her name appear on the Rock of Three Incarnations. But when she meets this young man, something unfamiliar stirs in her heart... and she doesn't know what to do with it. Meanwhile, Dong Hua is the wild, untamed prince of Qingqiu. Sent away to Kunlun Mountain to discipline his rebellious nature, he ends up being expelled for his mischief. Though he has never seen Empress Bai Fengjiu in person, he is obsessed with tales of her. His greatest wish is to meet her-but tradition says he must first earn the title of King. Little does he know, he won't just meet her once, but many times. Though her coldness often unsettles him, Dong Hua remains stubbornly drawn to her. No matter how distant she may seem, he is determined to stand by her side.
