Just Clichés Another Way!

As writers, we often find ourselves using clichés in our writing without thinking. Clichés are overused words and phrases that many novice writers use in their work. They are concepts that are so commonly overused to the point where they have become less impressive or compelling. The majority of writers strive to avoid utilizing clichés in their work unless it is for a good reason. Otherwise, "We should avoid them like the plague."
Here are two types of clichés:
An overused expression: "All in a day's work."
An idea with a different meaning: "Keep your grubbing paws to yourself." (Meaning: Concerned about someone touching something or becoming involved when you do not want them in your business.)
