Since Hikari was a little girl, she's been afraid of using her mother's quirk. All her life, she's only used her father's quirk, because she was afraid of becoming like her mother. When she gets accepted into U.A. High School, she tries to hide her quirk from everyone, but it seems like they already know. She feels overwhelmed, until she meets Todoroki, and finds out they have something in common... Sometimes, the only way to be a hero is to recognize your fears and weaknesses... and overcome them.

Also, it contains spoilers for My Hero Academia, so if you have not watched episodes 1-73, please DO NOT read unless you want this anime to be spoiled. Thank you!
