Four kids band together to fight against the unjust war that no one truly knows how it started. The Americans thought it's when the Germans refused to sign the peace treaty. The Germans thought it was America who threatened first. During the Enlistment Melissa, Johnathan, Sierra and Caroline, were selected. That's when the Military messed up. Determined to keep each other safe and stop everyone from dying from an unnecessary war, they journey to where the first threat was made. There they meet a mysterious stranger who could help their own personal war against destruction.

Mariah lives in Boston in the late 1700s. After the death of her mother, she's left with only her strict father and must take care of the home herself. She's up to her shoulders in housework. The only time she gets to go outside is when she goes shopping. But even then, trouble has a way to sneak in... England is struggling to maintain control over the rebelling colonies, and sends in a new fleet of troops to regain their authority. Among them is Jeremiah; a quiet twenty-two-year-old who really doesn't want to fight. His father thinks being a soldier honorable, no matter what the case. So Jeremiah is signed up and sent to America. Then he quite literally runs into Mariah, and the two are falling for eachother. But loving one on the other end of the battlefield is dangerous, and the two soon find themselves in the middle of the Boston Massacre.
