Alexis Salvatore has always been an achiever. An honor student, a campus journalist, a student leader, a competitive speaker, and a debater -- she is all of these. She is meticulous and rational, so when she fell in love, she wanted things to be within her control. However, when things did not go according to her liking, her judgment was challenged -- to choose between what was sensible or going after the man she loves. A never-ending routine of chasing and begging leads to hearts breaking.

Alexis values her studies so much. She had established her goals and had planned for her future -- a future that does not include the ruggedly handsome Andrei Teseryo...but that was before she met him.

For her, meeting Andrei was a fleeting moment, but loving him is the opposite. Immaturity, insecurity, lies, and jealousy are the exact formula of their young love, causing it to end abruptly....and painfully.

High school romance is supposed to be short-lived, but it is not the case for Alexis after how many years. However, Alexis is now a grown woman who is far more sensible than her eighteen-year-old self. Though she cannot deny that her heartbeats are still speaking his name, she can't speak it out. She should not.
