Because of the high standards his parents set for him when he was a child, Bakugo finds himself with self esteem issues and finds it hard to deal with failure. ("gifted kid" problems anyone?) after stumbling across the term age regression while searching ways to deal with stress, he decides this might be something he could try.

After being raised with at least equally as high standards as bakugo, Todoroki also finds himself in a similar situation. But with him, he soon finds that taking care of and loving someone is the best thing in the world.

(Bakugo and Todoroki are already dating but neither knows about bakugo's regression)
