May Carter is simply another normal teenager, with a few quirks of her own.

She hangs out with her quirky group of friends, has a quirky little family to deal with, and being a senior, has Finals and Prom -- among a lot of other things -- to worry about. Her life isn't how Hollywood has been depicting it is supposed to be. In other words, she is like you and I.

So, what will happen when she accidentally bumps into the resident bad boy of Atgree High, Red Duncan? Will he spare her, or does he have something else for her in his mind? And how will she deal with the constant attention she's been receiving from the barista-boy in the local cafe, who's name is literally Cupid?

No one:
Not even the Europeans when they colonized the whole world:
May Carter: Why on Earth am I surrounded by people with the weirdest names?

NOTE: This is not a cliche. Read at your own risk. :)

Gawking two guys in a hot-blown make-out session in the mathematical section of the library was not what I expected my first day after Winter breaks to be like. And didn't realize that seeing them was about to change my whole high school experience... Lillian Smith, the shy, quiet, nerdy girl, gets transferred to the most prestigious high school in her town, West Hills High, on a scholarship in her junior year. She spends half of her year hiding from the rich kids at her school to prevent any trouble. But one accidental encounter at the library with the popular bad boy of her high school changes things for her. One little secret leads to another until Lillian gets stuck with the secrets of the popular group, The Clichés. The burden of the secrets becomes heavy, and Lillian doesn't know what to do with them anymore. ~•~•~•~•~•~ "What's your name?" "Lillian... Lillian Smith." "Okay, Lillian, so this is what going to happen next." He crossed his arms. "I'm going to let you go and you-" he held his finger at me, "- will tell no one about this." I bobbed my head. "And if I hear even a single word uttering from your mouth about us..." He gestured between him and Toby. "I will-" "- Kill you." I finished for him and give him a thumbs up. "Got it." "Then it's settled!" Toby announced, clasping his hands and beamed. "It's going to be our little secret." ~•~•~•~•~•~ FEATURED ON: @Romance (Young Adult) @TeenFiction (Head Over Heals) @Humor (Isn't it romantically funny?) @YA (Clueless) HIGHEST RANKINGS: #1 Teen, Rich Kids, Secret affair, Nerd, Playboy #3 Young adult, Humor [Words count: 200,000 - 250,000] **Book Cover and Trailer made by me**
Hunting the Fairy Tale by MaggieOHighley

This story is my happy place; I do not plan on ever finishing it. It will go on and on like a soapie. Might break it up into volumes later. "Grab a bunch of broken misfits, chuck them in a tribe, add some glitter and loads of weird-as garbage, voila, you've got yourself a fairy tale... kinda... just... you know... minus the fairies..." Paisley Davenport ♫ When Willow Mayfair's life falls apart, her mother brings her to Briar Cove, the small coastal town where she grew up. Living with Rebecca's childhood friend, a new world filled with love, excitement, and friendship opens up for both of them. For everybody who also dreams of a fairy tale and won't care if the "knights" were a little dirty. Genre: Slice of Life/Romance/Humour This is a slow-burn journey through love and life, filled with an array of beloved characters, their sad moments, happy moments and a multitude of bat-sh#t crazy moments. P.S.: This is not a fairy tale... Thank you: Micaela, for helping the characters take on a life of their own and encouraging me to keep on writing. Phillo, for not minding reading girly stories... if it's to help your mom. Jeandré, your weird-as sense of humour and quirky feedback inspires me and keeps me going. ♫ This is a work of fiction. Any names or characters, businesses or places, events or incidents are fictitious. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. "In vain have I struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you." -Pride and Prejudice. -Jane Austen. Allison Waters is a girl as simple as they come, atleast that's what she believed. And to be honest she did enjoy a simple life for the past two years. All she wanted to pass her senior year in peace and be happy in life. What she wasn't expecting was to be back in town with a certain Greek God of a Devil acting more annoying than ever... Calling him tall dark and handsome would be the understatement of the century. He is the arrogant quarterback and one of the most popular guys in shcool. He is as I mention previously the reincarnation of the devil in his actions and a Greek God in the looks department, with startling blue eyes, a sinful body and gorgeous hair, who may at different times define the words Cocky and Adorable. Quite a contrast isn't it? Well that's who he is, or for that matter how we all are... a bit of both. Ashton Fobes is Alli's bestfriend, well Ex-Bestfriend, he is also her arch nemisis, her sworn enemy, but he is also the only one who can make her push her limits and challenge her in ways she never thought possible. Soon they were playing with Cupid's arrows trying to set up the unlikeliest couple imaginable, but what they seemed to have forgotten was Fate's wierd sense of humor and so it turned out while they were playing with Cupid's Arrows, he was aiming them at these two instead. Ps: I have now unpublished most of the chapters. Highest Ranking: 30, 35, 50 in teen fiction. 32, 66 in ChickLit. 46, 47, 78 in humor.

#10 in Humor 15/05/17 #29 in Teen Fiction 02/11/16 DISCLAIMER: I wrote this story when I was thirteen, so I'm sure that there are A TON of mistakes and plot holes. Reader's discretion is advisable. ❝Even through the cloudy nights of gloom and gray, it is a star's light that brings out a new Day❞ When a girl starts off a new school for the first time in her life, she obviously expects it to be far from sunshine and happiness. Especially if she's joined in the middle of the school year and used to be able to get up whenever she wanted, had her very own governess and lived out in the boonies. Not Day Winters. Meet the girl who defies logic of every kind, as she faces the real world for what it is despite holding a huge secret- that she is an online blogger with more than half of the world's population in love with her. This population however, isn't in love with Day, but her online form Starlight24. In an endless roller coaster of love, secrets, fights and friendship, Day is forced to accept the fact that even a Star's light will eventually burn out, and that even her own flame may flicker out into an overrated Daydream. ✨✨✨ © 2015 All rights reserved.
