Ang mga sanggol na Ito ay nanggaling sa iba't-ibang kaharian na pinamumunuan ng bawat magiging na hari't, reyna na may kakaibang lakas at kapangyarihan. Gayun pa man, Ang kaharian ay hindi mapapayapa hanggat nasa paligid nila ang kaisa-isa nilang kalaban at kaaway. Si Jarlath, ang hari at siyang namumuno sa kadiliman ng kaharian ng Fallen Kingdom, ang kuta ng mga demonyo. Sa kabila ng pag silang sa apat na bagong tagapagmana ng kaharian ay siya ring pag lusob ni Jarlath para patayin Ang mga Ito. Para sa kanya sagabal ang mga Ito at Hindi na dapat pang mabuhay. Gayun pa man nasa libro na rin ng propesiya na ang apat na sanggol ang nakatakda para mapatumba ang kaaway na si Jarlath at ng malaman ng mga hari at reyna ang tungkol sa bagay na Ito ay nag higpit sila sa pag babantay lalong-lalo na't Alam nila na papatayin Ito ng demonyo ano mang oras. Nagtagumpay ang tatlong kaharian sa pag bantay at tahimik na isinilang ang tatlong tagapagmana. Gayung ang isang kaharian naman ay siyang nag ka gulo dahil sa pag lusob ni Jarlath. Hindi nag tagumpay ang hari't reyna sa pag ligtas sa kanilang anak at napasakamay Ito ng demonyo ngunit hindi din nila batid kung saan Ito dinala upang paslangin.....

On the other side of the planet, in the United Kingdom of America, magic abled people have more possibility to work with their "blessing", if it is viewed more useful. This means to fight against giant beasts from faultlines, that have strange connections to rifts. There is a band of people quite successful with it and one in particular is celebrated like a popstar: Hades, (self-declared) God of the Underworld, trying to survive a world where the only worth a person like him is how much money he generates for the large companies called "guilds". It's a world ruled by chaos. A mad world indeed.
