It's been a year since Sean lost his best friend Max to a beach tragedy. Sean has never forgiven himself for Max loosing his life. He somehow thinks that it is his fault and will never let it go. Sean then starts year 8 which leads him to seeing Max again, looking up girls skirts, playing markers up with the boys and acting like nothing had ever happened.
