ABOUT TRAIN -

Welcome to the Beginning...

Underground, amidst tunnels and darkness, the ZV begins. It was what they had always feared would come, even if they never found out where it came from. Find out how the ZV, later given the term of Apocalypse for its suffix, or ZA, when it's size and scope was realized.
On the train, below the streets of New York, there are ten cars riding that day on the Broadway Express line. Inside those cars are people. Find out how the Virus started as we travel through ten cars filled to the brim. I mean, it had to begin somewhere, right? There's a lot of people on a Train...
How did Zed's become what they were, how did the ZA begin, and who survived the beginning? These are the people in the moments of the start of what made our world what it is today. Told in short, one sitting reads that you can enjoy on your way to work or during a break in the day, Train is a serial novel that captures people, travelling in time, caught in a moment.
Told in a serial format, Train will be a novel that focuses on the people and what they did to overcome the creation of a new world. A world in which none of us are safe and all we can do is survive day to day.
Welcome to the world before the ZA, before the Zed's. Welcome to the beginning...

Love in the Time of Zombies: An Apocalyptic Romance by JasperBladesmith
16 parts Complete
This novel is a zom-com-rom, blending a zombie apocalypse with humor and romance. "Good morning, welcome to Grand Crest Hotel. May I have the name under which the room is booked?" "Han So Hee," she replied. The receptionist typed quickly on the keyboard. "Ah, yes, Ms. Han. You're in room 1102 on the 12th floor." She handed her the room key card. . . she found a convenience store connected to the mall, purchased some samgak-Gimbap, and ate quickly. she stepped outside, expecting the usual bustle of evening activity. As she scanned the empty area, her eyes caught a figure-a man standing far away, motionless. Something about the way he stood unsettled her. Then, out of nowhere, a group of people rushed toward him. Startled, Han took out her phone, recording the scene from a distance. "What's going on?" she wondered. Planning to at least send the video to the police. "I shouldn't get involved in a street fight when I just landed here, right? ..." "Ugh ... I don't Know ..." She stepped closer, but what she saw next made her freeze in fear. The group wasn't just attacking the man. They were biting him, tearing at his flesh, their movements jerky and unnatural. Her stomach churned as her mind screamed the truth: "they weren't people. They were something far worse." . . "How did I end up here?" she wondered. "This feels like something straight out of a drama..." . . "How do people in dramas do this? she thought, feeling the sharp ache of hunger gnawing at her insides. They train for days without eating, and somehow they're fine. But here I am, struggling to even think straight." . . . She have to survive this with... ..Training.. ..Finding other survivors.. ..Finding a Safe Place.. ..or.. .. ..Finding Love..?
A Different Virus - Laura's Story by CrystalScherer
153 parts Complete
This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? Is this fleeting shadow something that can help her or could this mysterious figure be even more dangerous than the zombies themselves? ---------------------- Ranked #1 Apr 10, 2018 (A huge thank you to all who read and voted!)
