We humans have a lot dreams. Things we wish we could do. Talents we wish we had. Places we wish we could go. But often times when we decide to start working on a dream, we see how much time and effort it actually requires and take a step back, watching others achieve it to satisfy our craving for that experience.
Katie Nicholson is no different. Although only sixteen, she has been halted a lot by the reality of the work her dreams demand. But what happens when she is tossed into a cycle where facing her dreams is the only way to survive?

Luckily, there's almost always a side to people that nobody sees. Hanging out with the wrong crowd has gotten to Kelsey's nerves, but she doesn't want to leave her friends. Having such a reputation with the entire school has extremely high standards, and she can't meet them anymore.
